Miracle Sunday is one of the most special Sundays of the year at Peoples Church! Each year, we conclude our Access Series by coming together to celebrate what God is doing through water baptisms and participate in a miraculous offering. It's a day to celebrate transformed lives and take a step of faith and generosity as we continue our mission to create Access for ALL people to Jesus and His Kingdom. Our Miracle Offering is an opportunity to give above our regular tithes toward Access, helping us reach people locally and globally with the love of Jesus. This year, we'll highlight six of our Access partners and give additional support from the offering toward the work God is doing through them. As we prepare for Miracle Sunday, we encourage everyone to prayerfully ask the Lord what He is calling them to give. This is an opportunity to grow in generosity, trust God with our finances, and be part of something bigger than ourselves. We believe God can do miraculous things through our obedience and generosity!

 Experiencing Miracle Sunday as a Family 
Miracle Sunday is a special opportunity for our entire church family to worship, celebrate, and give together! On November 15, our elementary-aged Peeps (ages 5 and up) and United Youth will join us in the main services rather than meeting separately. We want kids and teens to experience this powerful day alongside the grown-ups in their lives. But we don't want their participation to begin on Sunday morning. We want to encourage families to make Miracle Sunday an opportunity to grow in faith and generosity together. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, foster parent, or another caring adult bringing kids to church, you have an opportunity to help the next generation learn what it looks like to hear from God, trust Him, and live generously.

How Can You Prepare for Miracle Sunday Together?

1. Pray Together and Listen to God. In the weeks leading up to Miracle Sunday, set aside time to pray together. Ask God what He is calling your family to give toward the Miracle Offering. Let your kids hear you pray, but don't stop there! Encourage them to pray and ask God what He might be asking them to give personally, too. Give them space to listen, ask questions, and share what they sense God is saying.
2. Share What God Is Speaking to You. As you pray, talk with your kids about what you believe God is placing on your heart. Share how you're seeking His direction, what you're trusting Him for, and why generosity is an important part of following Jesus. Then ask your kids what they sense God is saying to them. Encourage them to think and pray about what they can bring, reminding them that God cares about the heart behind our giving, not just the amount.
3. Take a Step of Faith Together. Generosity is about more than giving money. It's about trusting God and responding to what He asks of us. As a family, talk about how your giving helps create Access for others to know Jesus. Share what it means to trust God as your provider and how He invites us to live generously with what He's given us.
4. Give, Celebrate, and Keep the Conversation Going! On Miracle Sunday, come ready to worship, celebrate baptisms, and give together as a family! Let your kids participate by bringing their own offering as you give what your family has prayerfully prepared. Together, thank God for the opportunity to be part of His mission and help create Access for others to know Jesus. And don't let the conversation end on Sunday! Continue talking about what God is teaching your family. Celebrate the ways you see Him providing for your needs, answering prayers, and working through your generosity. Help your kids recognize that everything we have comes from God. He is our provider, and He invites us to trust Him and live generously with what He has given us.
